Christmasmarket in Oberwil-Lieli
In the run-up to Christmas, there are Christmas markets all over Switzerland. In out village this is accompanied by the entrance of 'Samichlaus' in our village. This was today, so despite the extreme cold we went out there and paid a visit to the market. If it wasn't for the Glühwein, I would've gone home sooner, it was extremely cold and there was a very strong wind going through the market.
Here is an impression of this event, there aren't many people there yet as we went early as we have young kids with us, however when Samichlaus enters the village it will be packed with people:
