Thats a great mountain .. I am always fascinated how landscapes can combine so many different sites from snow covered mountains, green forrest and dry yellow graslands up to a huge blue lake .. really beautiful ^^
Thank you! Yes, Eastern Oregon and Washington have a lot of contrast. Actually, this is on the Columbia River still - which I may not have been clear about. It's the fourth largest river in the US, I believe. It looks like a lake here because we're just upstream from the dam.
