Good read, man. I actually posted about my first guitar just a few days ago. What a coincidence.
It sounds like you have some really cool guitars. I have never played a rickenbacker guitar. I have played one of their basses however, and it was one of the best playing and sounding basses I have played.

You did? I'll check it. Sometimes I have dozens of tabs openned here that I forget to read them all, but I will.
Rickenbakers have some unique sound you know... its clean sound gets close to a Tele, but still, it's different. My rick though is a handmade replica done by and incredible argentinean luthier. You can spot the difference comparing the appearance of mine against an original, but if you compare the sound, no way you'll discover.
Same thing with the Casino, when clean it's pure charm, but when you put it into some good cranked valve amp that thing becomes a beast, it feedbacks, shakes, screams hahahahha
