Skate All Day Indoor Skatepark - Gold Coast Australia

I would like to share some photos from the March Brisbane Rollerbladers Skate Meet.
This month the skate meet took place at a new indoor skate park call Skate All Day.
Considering the Gold Coast has some of Australia's best outdoor skateparks, I was interested to see what this indoor park has to offer, apart from being an undercover skatepark which is handy when it rains.
The moment we entered the park we had to register to be able to skate the park. Reading through the rules.... Number 5 really stood out.
BMX, Scooter, Rollerblades and roller-skates are not to use the skate park....
Hmmm that is an extremely arrogant rule to have for a indoor skatepark. The owner must be on some sort of power trip and keen to run his business into the ground.
So it was safe to say this indoor park was set up for skateboarding only.
None the less one of the guys called prior to our arrival and they allowed us to pay to skate their skateboard only park.
Now the street section of the skatepark is layed out just like a street league park.
They have a multi level mini ramp.
And a very nice vert ramp which is 13.5ft high and 20ft wide. Which gets the heart pumping while skating it.
This park would be the perfect incubator for up and coming skateboarders.
None the less we still had an awesome session on one of the quarter pipes.

It sure was hot and sweaty inside this shed.
But that didn't stop the guys and girls lacing some dope tricks!
All in all it was a very fun session and if you are a skateboarder I would highly recommend checking out www.skateallday.com.au
