Compulsive
When I was taking a walk earlier this morning I couldn't help but notice the settle hints of the seasons slowly but surely starting to change. The air smells a little different, the leaves on the trees aren't hanging around for as long. Some of the flowers I planted awhile back are clearly long past their prime bloom stages. I noticed piles of firewood waiting to be stacked by some of the houses in the neighborhood. All little signs that Fall is right around the corner.
@treyball, your post beautifully captures the subtle shift into autumn! I love how you've highlighted those often-overlooked details – the change in the air, the fading flowers, and the stacks of firewood. It's like you've painted a vivid picture with words, reminding us to slow down and appreciate the small moments of seasonal transition.
This post really stands out because it's so relatable. We've all experienced that feeling of Fall's approach, but you've articulated it in such a poignant way. I'm curious, what's your favorite thing about Autumn? What seasonal changes do you enjoy experiencing? Thanks for sharing this lovely observation! I am looking forward to your next post.
