This posting about Seville will be showing how Seville was on the day of Christmas.

사진에 보시면 거리가 불빛 장식들로 꾸며져 있는 것을 볼 수 있는데요. 크리스마스가 되기 몇 주 전부터 장식을 달고 불을 켜놓는 답니다. 몇 주 전부터 볼 수 있는 장식이지만 크리스마스에 나와서 보는 것은 또 의미가 다르겠죠? 사진의 오른쪽 편에 있는 네모난 건물들은 크리스마스 기간에만 볼 수 있는 크리스마스 마켓입니다. 티비에서 이미 접해보셨을진 모르겠지만 스페인 사람들도 크리스마스가 되면 집에 인형들과 각종 장식으로 예수의 탄신 장면을 표현해놓곤 한답니다. 저 크리스마스 마켓에선 그 때 필요한 동방박사나 예수님의 모형 등을 팔고 있습니다.
The streets are decorated with lights. The lights were on a few weeks before but it felt more special on the day of Christmas. Do you see rectangular stores on the right side of the picture? They are Christmas markets and they only appear in the Christmas period. They sell decorations and dolls used to display the scene of Jesus's birth - I don't know if you've already seen it on TV but Spanish people decorate and display the scene of Jesus's birth at their homes.
누에바광장 쪽에서 거리 공연을 하고 있네요. 세비야는 평소에도 플라멩코 기타를 연주하거나 묘기를 부리는 등 거리에서 공연가들을 쉽게 찾아볼 수 있는데 이 분은 이 날 처음 본 분이신걸 보니 크리스마스날 특별히 나와 공연을 하시는 분이신 것 같네요.
A performance at Plaza de Nueva! You can see quite a bit of people performing on the street in Seville. I've never seen this man before so he must be putting up a special show especially for Christmas.
트램 길을 쭉 따라 걷다보면 나오는 Puerta de Jerez역 앞 조그만 광장에는 매년 이렇게 대형 크리스마스 트리를 꾸며놓는다고 하네요. 사람들이 참 많이 나와있죠? 스페인은 천주교 국가다보니 크리스마스는 물론 동방박사들이 예수님을 찾아온날인 1월 6일까지 축제가 계속되어 하루 전인 5일엔 스페인 곳곳에서 퍼레이드가 있답니다:)
A big Christmas tree is decorated every year at a small square near Puerta de Jerez, the subway station. So many people came out to celebrate Christmas. The atmosphere lasts until January 6 which is called "Three Kings' Day." It is a day when three Wise Men found the baby Jesus and offered gifts and on the eve of "Three Kings' Day," there are parades in cities in Spain.
알카사르 입구 앞에 있는 하얀 동상들도 전구 장식을 입었네요:)
The white statue in front of the Alcazar is also decorated with light bulbs:)
이렇게 누에바광장 쪽에서 세비야 대학교 쪽으로 크리스마스 분위기가 물씬 나는 트램길을 따라 쭉 걷다보면...

세비야 대학 건너편에 있는 공원에서 조그마한 축제가 벌어지고 있는 것을 볼 수 있습니다. Navidad sobre Hielo(얼음 위의 크리스마스)라고 적혀있네요.
You can see a small festival taking place in the park across the University of Seville. See Navidad sobre Hielo(Christmas on ice)?
각종 물건들과 음식을 파는 상점들이 모여있네요.
Shops lined up selling various goods and food in the festival.
축제에 빠질 수 없는 놀이기구들과 사진에 나오진 않았지만 사슴으로 추정되는 동물도 있었습니다.
Various rides for children and though they are excluded in picture, animals I think is reindeer
친구들과 모여서 저녁을 먹은 후 함께 놀러 나온 길에 찍은 거라 사진이 별로 없어 너무 아쉽네요.
