it is a busy time in spring

Spring time in bear country, means finding food to bulk up once again for the upcoming winter because winter is always coming in the bear world, feed the young-ones if you are a new mother bear, and if you are not then to find a suitable partner to mate with. What it means if you are traveling to certain areas during the Spring time then you are confronted with numerous different behaviours from various bears, which is amazing.

You can see aggressive males whom are chasing each other off, females foraging the shorelines with their cubs and of course bears that are engaged in some private time. Hence the photo today, we saw the female chase the male bear and originally thought it was going to be an aggressive encounter. However, things appeared to escalate quickly to what you see in the photo and was a male and female enjoying each others company for a short period of time.
