incomplete thoughts, September 25th-26th

Even the applications this photographer uses tease me like a little kid.

“Do you really want to quit?”

No! I want to play more! Less games, more lights, I stay up most nights, cramming in recreational distractions. A green light, a dot in the distance, means the console, or speaker remains powered on. The game this portraitist wished to play was to hide-and-seek – leaving elements obfuscated, within his greater works and seeking more talent by which to create. Enough chatter about the attempts, it’s high time to his show get on the road.

An appeal for funds was not the end; practice is every day, a light gain, even if other interests must wait, a slight pain. The work grows stronger, as the marathon continues, as does the desire to share. However, to count your chickens before they hatch is poor practice, thus this artist could not be satisfied with just another roll shot. In fact, was at this time more must be done to reach the goal, a rapidly approaching deadline.

I do not want to quit. ‘Why would I stop today, when tomorrow I’ll be better than I am right now?’ While the accomplishments of others inspire pride and admiration, it would be wrong to say a fire did not alight under this individual to push himself. Whether it be somatic training or field research, learning lasts a lifetime. Such remains the same, as a review of the basics is still a step towards mastery. Do not expect the content to slow down, constant repetition is the path to progression, it almost requires these words be shared: much remains to be seen. Much remains to be seen.
