It’s a lovely day so I went out on a big cycle - I needed it! This is the lovely valley, Wiltshire has some lovely countryside

Stone wall and bench
Not too sure the history of this stone wall (if any) but it did stand out in the field! Maybe a farmer has just put it there, or maybe it has some significance! Either way, a great place to chill facing the sun ☀️
Water! 💧
Lovely stream cutting through the woods, it was very quiet and I could hear the water trickling :) it also looked super clear and clean, I was tempted to drink some but I wasn’t sure how human friendly it was.... do you think it would have been safe? It wasn’t as cold as I thought either!

those are gorgeous photos of the countryside. The stream one is my favourite and NO I would not drink straight from the streams there ever. You never know what chemicals may have contaminated it or if a dead animal may be upstream laying in the water or any number of possibilities. However its possible to get some nice survival water filter kits though which would make it drinkable after a quick filter process - better to be safe than sorry always. there would be a few purer places in the world where drinking from a stream would feel safe and good, but this is not one of them sadly ;)
