In photography, golden hour (also called magic hour), is the best friend for an outdoor photographer. Photographers pro called golden hour as the moment with the best lighting conditions of the day. If you've ever seen the movie Full Metal Jacket, you'll see how director Stanley Kubrick maximizes the golden hour technique in the movie.

What is Golden Hour and when does it happen?

At golden hour, the sunlight hits the subject of the photo from a sloping angle giving it rich dimensions and textures and has a warm golden color. You can take pictures of landscape, portrait, sunset / sunrise or silhouette at this golden hour and get a more beautiful photos.
