I took these with my phone. No processing. Just my snake Pancho eating his quarterly rat. Yes, he eats 4 times per year - and yes, I know what I am doing. I bred snakes for years.
Pancho is about 4 feet long and won't be ready for a wife until he grows another foot or so. He is three and a half, has legal papers (a must in the country where I live), and is great with kids.
He would not be too good with cats or hamsters.

The theme for this week's challenge is "emotive human portrait"..... You linked to the announcement challenge, so I don't understand why you're entering this photo.... ????
When I used to work, I used to read over 1000 resumes per day. I can't slow down and enjoy. I read the description and started looking for things that would cause emotional responses. Yes, you got me - but on the up side, I am taking better (quality) pictures :)
Haha :) Well....I would say that it does fit the bill for causing an emotional response :)

I have bred snakes for years. I know it may shock some, but he only eats 4 times per year, so it's worth capturing. He doesn't mind if I put the camera right in his face, with flash, while eating... I can't say I would tolerate that.
Well if you only ate four times per year, you might not care what else was going on around you either. Too focused on the meal!
