Lightnings - North of Israel (Original photo)

in #photography8 years ago

Hey everyone,

I managed to shoot that lightning a few winters ago, this is quite complicated with a point-and-shoot camera, I was basically setting it to the highest exposure it supported (8 seconds) and kep taking photos of the middle of the sky hoping to catch one in these 8 seconds.
Managed to do it only twice in my life, the other one isnt as good as this one, this one has the power.

Hope you like it!

Hi simba, nice to see a fellow Israeli here.
are you part of the crypto community? we might know each other.
Well done on your photography.

I've been in, out and around crypto, but wasnt really active in any community way :) Hello from Nahalal :)

always amaze by lightning shots. must take patience to get it.

Thanks, it mostly required about 300 black photos :)))

Awesome. I was married to a girl from Israel a few years ago, i spent 11 months there and loved every minute. I still remember trying to dive down in the Yam ha-Melah after taking a shave and my neck nearly exploded from salt. I stayed with my girl in rishon lezion most of the time, but i went to most of the areas and did most of the tourist things, but my favorite place in israel was the bahai gardens in haifa..there were many special place and i would recommend the travel to anyone...i also worked a little in the catering for a few weddings for some experience....you have to learn Hebrew fast!

Hey, thats cool! what a story :)
Yes, the Bahai gardens are amazing, I live about 20-30 minutes from Haifa in a small place called Nahalal, I visit haifa alot :)

Good shot! It causes trembling.

Thanks, it cost me my electricity and internet connection for a few hours :)
