A Sunny Autumn Day at the River [Original Photography]
Dear friends,
we had an amazing sunny autumn day in my hometown Bonn today. With temperatures above 20° C / 68° F everybody was running around in T-Shirts and lots of people were sunbathing and had barbecue at the Rhine riverside.
Here are some photo-impressions for you:
Here is an image from the southern bridge called Konrad-Adenauer-Brücke. To the left you can see the silhouette of the UN-Campus and the World Conference Center hotel.
In this panorama-image you can also see the Post Tower, which is Germany's 11th highest skyscraper.
This is a view from the eastern riverside with a containership passing by.
From here you can see the northern bridge, which is called Friedrich-Ebert Brücke.
It's one of the first modern Cable-stayed bridges in Germany.
In this panorama-image you can see the view from the top of the bridge.
To left you can see some cranes of the inland harbour.
My 6 year old daughter shot this image of a stone sculpture with her own camera. Maybe she's becoming a professional photographer when she grows up ;-)
At home we saw the last sunrays from our balcony.
Stunning visions of natural beauty there, my friend. Awesome and inspiring in so many ways. I just wish I had been there when you took the shot. Must have been an incredible scene to witness these shots first hand.

Any idea what this has to do with the Rhine?
Yay :-) Isn't it the coat of arms of Schaffhausen in Swizerland? Nearby are the Rhinefalls, which are Europes highest waterfalls. (I didn't know that, before you pointed me there - and it looks amazing)
