Under my Skin is a cover story I photographed for the 70th issue of Vangardist Magazine.

The story is focusing on the beauty of the human skin, with closeups on folds, pores and body hair.
We had two great models that day, representing two different skin colourations- with tattoos and with vitiligo.
This has to be one of my favourite commissioned works this year, selecting the images was nearly impossible :D
So I decided to include here also a few outtakes which were not published in the magazine, instead of some that were ;)

Wow. The skin is the most reflecting organ to show the mental state. At least that's what the dermatologist told me when I had my internship there. Great photos. Particularly love the framing! 📸📸

Thank you! It is indeed a great reflector of our inside world <3

Outstanding work! I really like the unusual skin of the female model and the natural unobstructed view. That's something rare and special in a glossy photoshopped mainstream world. Resteemed.

Thank you very much!
My artwork is usually very raw and natural, with minimum retouch as possible (preferred non at all).
Though I do love photoshop as a tool and when commercial work calls I can put out a super glossy end product, in my personal artwork I like it when there are real emotions and those tend to disappear with the retouch.

Totally agree with the “real emotions”. Especially heavy skin retouching destroys almost all of it. Keep it up!

Indeed.
