While birthdays are commonly reserved for young children, there are auspicious milestones to reach and they are celebrated with great generosity for all. There are also ages that carry a little more caution and in there are many cultural reasons and approaches to mitigate the misfortunate associated around these times. These include certain rituals and skipping of certain birthdays that are unique to men and women.

Celebrations of birthdays in China are great occasions for the most part and often involve a banquet for all to enjoy. There a few dishes served to the guest of honour which focus longevity of life and fortune. As one might expect there will be some red colour involved in some dishes to symbolise good fortune for the birthday person. Western style Birthday celebrations have also come into the household and the cake decoration service seen across the country has risen considerably in volume and quality.

Nowadays we like to give our children something they will relate to and it just so happens that PUBG, the video game is pretty hot. I certainly didn’t get this type of cake when I was little girl.
