Nature Walk

I am really enjoying spending some time in Spain again. I took a very long walk today in the countryside. Here are some of my favourite photos taken along the way. I got home exhausted but happy and with sense of achievement after covering around 20km.

These beautiful red dragonflies were hanging out in a group at the edge of a lake. I was lucky to get such a good shot

This is a grey heron. It has such a very long neck. It is an extraordinary and beautiful looking bird.

It was just the right temperature for walking with blue skies and around 26 degrees C.

wow wonderful post , amazing photography.. i love the second picture of grey heron i guess she is walking on the water with her long neck on one side as if she is doing some modeling on water :) .. And yes the curvy, twisting road among the hills look stunning..what is this place?

Amazing ! 😀 the dragonfly is awesome, such amazing colour! They’re so cool. The world offers us such amazing goods when we just look and Appreciate it all :)

A real delight to see you out there hiking around such a beautiful country! That dragonfly was exquisite! Do you know I have such a hard time getting a decent picture of them?

The grey heron is so magnificent with its long, genteel-looking neck. So elegant and stately. What a wonderful capture!

The hike looked like it may have been challenging, but, fun! I am so glad you are having a wonderful time!

Thanks very much Denise, glad you enjoyed my post. Dragonflies are tricky to capture a pond it took a few shots before I got this first one. It was a fabulous walk for sure and lots of fun!

Awesome blog today @sallybeth23 the countryside in Spain is breathtaking! It is unusually warm here today, which is a wonderful treat, blue skies and hot sunshine make it that much more awesome!
