Jungle Daily - Driftwood
Driftwood is a wonderful part of the beach here in Costa Rica. There is a lot of it and it is treasured, respected and protected under conservation laws. It is actually illegal to remove any from the beach.

No wonder it is indeed a beautiful place and the last image was indeed stunning !
Pretty nice place to be !
Great photography of the beach and the driftwood.
It reminds me of El Salvador so much, but in El Salvador any driftwood will be gone pretty quick since the locals will take it for firewood or any projects.
That’s interesting, locals take the odd bit but conservation laws are pretty well respected... pretty well.😉💛🌈🌴🦋
Awesome job really so much fun watching your blogs.
Very nice photos!! Here in Nongkhai along the river, fishermen and villagers would go out to collect drift woods after heavy rain falls in Laos! Fallen trees would be swept down the river!
Cheers.
Wow really that’s interesting , we get huge whole trees floating around in the ocean which can be quite dangerous when out surfing!
When the river is overflowing with thick sheets of brown water, it becomes very dangerous. But the fishermen in their slim long boats would risk their lives to fetch these logs!
That's impressive photography in Costa Rica. Totally wondering to see them. Great work @sallybeth23.

nice post by the way mam wonderful photography.
It's so interesting that the drift wood is protected. Here in Australia it isn't uncommon for people to collect it and refashion it into furniture or little art pieces, I think it is better they are left in nature where they belong though.
