The picturesque landscapes of Transbaikalia in Russia
Lamsky town - the most beautiful rocks among cedar woods at an altitude of about 1 800 meters above sea level (for Transbaikalia it is quite high). Local residents remember that during the repression there were hiding Buddhist lamas who fled from the ruined datsan - a Buddhist temple standing near the village of Semiozero.
The legend says that the lamas somewhere hid a lot of gold, including a large statue of the Buddha standing in the datsan. In every legend there is a grain of truth - nearby and now there are gold mines.
The beauty of this place isn’t worth talking about, just look at the pictures. There just a few national parks in the world that can boast such beauties.
