5 Fascinating Flower Facts Series (#2 of 100): Daisy
Even though this flower is ubiquitous and well-known by most people, it's still one of my favorites and here's some facts you probably didn't know about!
Daisy leaves are safe to eat and high in vitamin C. They can be used as toppings in salad and in sandwiches.
Daises come in all different colors. They can be white with a yellow core, purple with a brown core, and red with yellow core.
You'll find Daises everywhere in the world except the one place that's inhabited: Antarctica.
Daises symbolize purity and innocence.
They are part of the sunflower family, if you haven't guessed it yet.
