And like an old tree we die alone

I took this picture today and could not stop thinking about all the life this tree used to have. How it grew from a small branch, to this big tree reaching to the sky. I can't seem to get out of my head, the similarity to life itself. All our life we are seeking to grow professionally, emotionally.. reaching for the sky. But the moment our light is gone and that last breath sails in the wind, you will be alone. And like this tree, all that would be left is the memory of what it was one day. Hope you enjoy it and it motivates you to live life at it fullest before our light is gone.
