Visiting The "Ideal Home Show" in the Kensington Olympia

Last weekend, @ezzy and I visited the "Ideal Home Show" which is an annual event held at Olympia, London. It has been a few years since I last went to this event, so was really looking forward to going to get some ideas and inspiration for some home designs!

We went for the day and thoroughly enjoyed it after spending around five hours wandering through the venue! The place was so huge and well laid out. The crowds on the weekend were real!

There were two floors, with the downstairs section boosting a massive display, including beautiful exterior designs like the show gardens with different themes and several luxury jacuzzi's. A small robotic lawnmower in particularly caught my attention, lol.

The show house looked absolutely amazing introducing all the latest in-house technologies. The interior rooms were very innovative in design with on-trend colours and decoration. I really loved it!

There was so much going on at the show including celebrity talks and demonstrations on the latest gadgets. We bought some bits and pieces for home with a few great bargains, haha!

Half of the upstairs section continued with more merchandise whereas the other half was the food hall. It got really busy during the lunch hours though. But we managed to grab ourselves some delicious pulled pork burgers and loaded chips. There was also a singing performer belting out some classic tracks, which was quite entertaining.

We loved the whole experience from start to finish and managed to get some great tips and ideas for our home. The "Ideal Home Show" always gives you great inspiration and contacts for your next home project. It is totally worth the time visiting.
