Ratel's photos #74 Forest Birds-49
The northern shoveler (Spatula clypeata), or northern shoveller, female.
I saw her in the ducks' favorite lake.
There it is, right below.
This funny duck apparently did not notice me. Because the rest, from the slightest rustle, soared up into the sky. By the way, not only the wide-legged wings floated there, but also the The Eurasian wigeon. Such is the water mixed duck flock.
On the way I met family of eurasian hobbys
An adult bird with prey that is carried by the chicks.
The main diet consists of dragonflies. Occasionally the mother brings them small birds (I saw gutted corpses).
Oh, one chick noticed me :)
