The most beautiful blue flower in the world
Blue Hydrangea is a stunning, rare flower.
They can come in a variety of hues, the shade of blue depends on the alkalinity of the soil. Here we see softer shades with subtle hints of purple and notes of pink dancing on the edges.
Blue Hydrangea only bloom for a short time and it is always a treasure. We can see the flowers transitioning from full bloom to wilting grey lifeless petals.

This pic brings back memories as a kid in South Georgia, my Grandma had these in her yard.

if you have pink ones you can help them turn blue by adding crushed eggshells in the soil of your hydrangea plants.
@biomike - is freaking right, The Netherlands love flowers and nature. Most front and backyards are hydrangea filled in here . They come in different faces but I love the white snowball and the limelight hydrangeas the most.
Rare? You should visit the Netherlands then. There you can find them in almost every garden. Nice pictures though, first one is the best, others are a bit out-of-focus.

Depends on the area you're visiting. The "Randstad" (urban area along the western coastline from Rotterdam up to Amsterdam) is far from tranquil. Other parts are more relaxing though, but each part of the Netherlands has its own beauty.
