Early rainy stroll on the beach!
Sheer freedom to run in the ocean on a rainy day.
Soft rain and dark clouds stifled the furnace blast of the hot African sun and in this kind of weather, the beach makes an ideal venue for some long walks with our feet in the water. A vast open expanse of sand to explore at will, as not many people frequent the beach on rainy days. Especially early in the morning.

What a show of happiness, as when his handler set him free he took off into the shallows like a rocket!
If ever I have seen happiness, this is it!
He seemed to smile at us as we continued with our walk.
Dreary rainy weather? Definitely not, as it's ideal weather for beach strolling!
Now I sound like an old pro, but I have never done this before and we thought that it would be a good idea after the searing heat of yesterday. It was indeed a revelation and only my ethics prevented me from taking photos of two elderly ladies in the old full bathing suits that were board, body surfing in the shallows. Including us, there were only about 8 people on the mile long beach. What an adventure!

You have a lot of things to learn, we have to learn a lot of things. If you look at your nose, do not look at us or you will be able to ask us to sit down.
That doggy is like my Sam. When we hit the desert and he gets off the lead he goes, and goes hard. It's a joy to watch.

Dogs on the beach always a joy to watch their sheer pleasure of freedom Stephen, yes today the cooler weather arrived humans are feeling better too!
Still cool here Lady Joan with the wind running wild. Lovely weather, especially after some blistering days. Most of my life is spent outdoors, but now I have to stay out of the sun, as I have developed some mystery skin condition (itchy small hives) and it's like a life sentence! Blessings!
