BIRDS AT THE LAKE TODAY
I took the scenic route home from town today.
It is always nice to drive by the lake and get a look at things. Lots of interesting animals make their homes there, and we appreciate the wildlife for sure.
While I wasn't able to capture anything too stellar with the camera, it was nice to see the birds and watch them in their natural environment. Some of the photos turned out alright though, so here they are. Enjoy!

Are those flamingos ?
No, egrets, herons, and a turkey vulture.
They look great, those birds. We have some similar species here in Cumaná (Ve). The ones of the heron on the dried branch are fantastic. The model has this elegant, almost regal attitude. The branches just magnify this elongated body that speaks of peace and quiet.
These white little beauties are found almost everywhere yet whenever or wherever you see them the look equally beautiful.

You have a beautiful wildlife within your reach..well shot pictures too! you are lucky you can take images instantly and with perfection.. I could never take proper photos without the tripod because of shaky hands.

I should use a tripod too, but I try to stabilize it.
Love all the egrets and herons, among those that I miss the most from Florida.
