They lay huge eggs which contain as much as 24 chicken eggs.. that's a great breakfast! Inspired by @yoganarchista i looked into my archive.. and voilà found one

The Ostrich

I don't know what he thought at the moment when I pressed the release. He seemed to care little about what i'm doing. I saw him in a unspectacular enclosement in a zoo in Chemnitz.

But wait!..

..maybe there is more with this ostrich? His gaze puzzled me and i looked deeper in his eyes..

and Wow!! Unbelievable,

He has made history!

He made his entrance in Joust 35 years ago in a Williams arcade game. In this weird game knights holding lances and riding on ostriches to fight against each other.. the 80s were a wild time with many drugs i think :) Williams announced the game with a flyer with the following words:

"His Majesty King Williams will receive his many subjects at his magnificent Joust tournament in ye Land of Molten Magma and Stoned Clouds. Whereat all able and brave Knights shalt ride their Bird and shalt fight with lance ye evil enemies."

As i said they had smoked something..

Many ostriches died and knights had to think of alternatives.

Our ostrich luckily survived!

But..

..that's not enough he came back in 2000 after all knights were in heaven or hell and a blonde guy found him eventually on a farm.

He took him straight to General Mordens hideout in Metal Slug

Fully equipped with a strong cannon he had a hard time in this mayhem.. and finally he survived just to get in new difficuilties..

..he stumbled in the Ostrich Simulator in 2016 a really odd game where he killed all the protected animals on earth just for points and loot..

Man!..Now i understand his gaze! He is a forgotten hero!

..But he never rest!
