The Blue Dragonfly - Good Summer Times in the Garden

Hi steemit friends,

today something shot with an old camera i'd already sold. A beautiful dragonfly sitting on a leaf in the sun. Shot with FujiFilm FinePix S100fs. This camera has a wonderful high quality objective with a Supermacro function i used for this photo and many others.

This (now) huge camera has a weight of nearly 1kg. Why i sold it? There are four main reasons

it's too heavy and big for casual family photography, nearly 1kg
it has bad low light abilities
it has no FullHD video capability
slow autofocus

On the other hand what i loved was

beautiful colors and vivid pictures
wonderful Macro

At sunny day you get wonderful pictures with the Fujifilm

Now i have a A6000 from Sony and it has

small size, lightweight (half of the S100fs)
good low light abilities
FullHD video function
quite fast autofocus (even if your kids running towards you)

BUT

i missing the Supermacro objective and sometimes the vivid colors (a gut feeling)

But it's ok because many advantages so far.

Very nice shot. I think the theme of the current steemit photochallenge is "nature macro". Maybe you can make this picture an entry to the challenge. Or another one if you have more quality makros :) Thank you for sharing this beauty :)
