My Mother's Wall Art. ๐๐ She'll be pleased to read any comments left on this post.
My mother literally paints every inch of her house. Here are just a few snapshots of the inside of my parents massive 3 bedroom co-op. Every wall, furnishing, and window is art. If you stay there long enough, she might even paint YOU.
She's a Gemini like me, and I'm named after her. She's a passionate artist and creatively obsessive compulsive (in a wonderful way.) No blank space can go without ornamentation. This is her groove in the world.
The yarns and other dangled strings are for the cat- who is just visiting, so not usually there. The puzzles glued to the wall, collages, and paintings are all original works of hers. She agreed to let me take some pictures and share them with Steemit.
These paintings get removed and repainted constantly. So she's like a graffiti writer sometimes. I regret not taking pictures of older pieces and archiving them in some way.

Absolutely agree. My parents are hippies. I would expect nothing less than this from them except maybe a giant ganja leaf on the ceiling (there isn't one but there should be.)

Thank you @artemislives Indeed, the world is too stiff sometimes about superficial things like homemaking. I think this is just incredible. And her house is superbly clean as well, this is all with purpose and on purpose. In her age she feels like letting go of all the shoulds and shouldn't. I don't blame her. I'm hoping to support her more as she changes her paintings. Thank you so much for leaving a comment!
