Today we will continue our journey to the Flora Pavilion and the Ionian Lake.

Last time we visited the gazebo "Mushroom".
Today we are waiting for the Tarpey rock and a walk along the Venetian bridge. See the map.

We go to the Tarpean rock, on it there is a small gazebo.
From afar it looks great! Boulders of which the rock consists, amaze with its size!





We climb to the rock and go into the arbor:

From the arbor clearly visible main alley. From time to time horses pass by in harness.
The voice of hooves is clearly audible. This creates an unforgettable atmosphere...

We leave the Tarpeian rock, and from here the Flora Pavilion is already visible!
But to get to it you need to overcome the obstacle - a stormy stream :)



Move to the other side of the stream can only on barely protruding pebbles. Well, who is brave? :)

The stream is not so small as it may seem, but we overcame it! :)

And what is this interesting bridge? We again cross the stream in another place and in the opposite direction to see an interesting waterfall, it was formed because of the water gateway.









In my opinion, the last picture with a waterfall conveys the rapid movement of water, and it seems that again you hear the roar of the water that was there.

From the small bridge you can see the Venetian bridge. From him he is breathing old times. We'll get closer to the bridge.

After passing the bridge, we are next to the Flora Pavilion!
The famous fountain "Snake" is seen in the distance!



About this fountain you can find out on the Internet the following:

The diameter of the fountain head "Snake" in comparison with the pipe water supply decreased by a factor of 10. Accurately calculated water supply and a simple engineering solution of the eruption of a fountain provides a slight difference in height betweent the Upper Lake and the fountain is only 1,5 - 2,5 meters and thus the fountain height is 12-16 meters. Initially the water fountain struck just a height of holes in the stone and the fountain called "Samson" as well as famous fountain in Peterhof. Later during a military settlement on the rock was a statue of a snake. The snake was poured in bronze by an unknown master. If its site to stretch in length it will be the size of around 11 meters.

Along the way, we meet cheerful musicians. When they see children, they restore their repertoire and play music from the cartoon "Masha and The Bear". Our mood has improved :)

On the way, we again made an attempt to call swans and they responded. Probably, they knew that they would go down in history (Blokcheyn) :)!
