Calendar - May
Summer in Alberta is short. If you want to experience some, better don't blink.
But spring is even shorter. Sometimes there is none.
Here's my spring photo.
I never imagine these birds live here. But they do.
From the end of May until the end of August.
Just hang the feeder with sugar water and they will come.
This photo was taken on 29th of May in 2012.
That was the first time I saw a hummingbird in person.

Great catch and I had no idea they would come so far north either. They were rampant where I lived in San Diego and they fight! They make a clicking sound and go after each other like crazy. It could be loud enough to get me to go outside and chase them off :)
Great job on these posts. Your calendar will be a lovely addition to the year. I'm still working on my fat people and they could not care less. I think 2019 will be an even fatter year and I need a new line of work...
