Berlins most beautiful department store ‘Kaufhaus des Westens’ or in short KaDeWe is a Berlin institution in its own right. Founded 110 years ago it is also Berlins oldest shopping temple. That well loved, highly reputable and longstanding old-school department store with its escalators and 6 floors filled with lovely luxurious items, be it the latest in fashion, cosmetics, jewellery, decorations, toys, exquisite fine foods and more is well known for its brightly illuminated and decorated shopwindows at the time of the holidays.
