Shine-through butterfly

I usually find dragonflies sitting on barbed wire, but this is nice too:


Olympus Stylus 1s, 300mm, ISO160, f5.6, 1/500

Some hints of lens flare, sorry about that; it had the sun directly behind it.

These little small coppers (Lycaena phlaeas) look friendly enough, but they are fiercely territorial and will aggressively chase off butterflies and other insects much larger than themselves.

Maybe even the dragonflies didn't dare sit near it.
