Thanks, they are fun to get close to and see what you can do with the various patterns. Would love to get a ring light and do more macro. There are some phenomenal photographers on the site doing insects, etc. So many things to be interested in, so little time. Though never bored with camera in hand.
I photograph insects with available light only. Just shoot them when you see them! I have reposted some of my photos of insects just now, not macro shots strictly speaking I think, but you get what I mean.
