Moths: Longhorn Moth

This is the longhorn moth (Nemophora degeerella), geelbandlangsprietmot in Dutch. It is found in damp deciduous forests in most of Europe and flies during the day from May to July.

It has a wingspan of only 20mm (0.8"), but the male's antennae are quite a bit longer. Still, it manages to fly around with them.

Awesome, this creature is so beautiful and it's antennae is literally reflecting as an signal antennae and not an natural part of this creature, and really breathtaking to watch this beautiful creations of nature and in my opinion we are living in an artistic world. Im never see this moth,,,
Thats a male moth,,, cause have a longhorn,,,
I just read about this moth,,, im very intersting because the moth have a longhorn,,,
Btw, this moth only in europe,,,

Yes, the females have normal-sized antennae. It's the males that look for females, not the other way around.
