Hoverfly Macro
I must say as a beginner it is very hard to take macros. I find it hard to get the focus right and the very little breeze which disturbs the grass or flowers can be annoying. I think getting a tripod might help but it is little cumbersome.

looks like you cropped a lot missing a lot details might also explain why the image is 1080 * 1080 , what camera and lens did you use ?

I use canon 700D with 18-55mm lens. The camera is not mine but my brother's. He was happy to see me taking interest in photography and does not mind me using it :D

Its all in the fstop, for better or worse hahahah. When i do macro and i dibt have great lighting i always lean on the iso. Its a great picture btw love the framing and yiu were able to get great detail of the insect
