Light and darkness of the underwater world

in #photography7 years ago

The underwater world is colorful and bright. This color is conspicuous and memorable. It's good. But this is bad. Color often obscures everything else. So I like to watch underwater photos in black and white.

Then I start to see lines, shapes, lights. The photos have new accents. More attention is paid to the sea inhabitants themselves.

Black nature

I chose for this post different marine inhabitants. Each of them is beautiful in its own way. They are all a dream of a diver. There are representatives of different seas and oceans:
Whale Shark with Maldives
Green Sea Turtle from the Philippines
Manta from Indonesia Raja Ampat
Squid from the Red Sea

Black nature

I promise to return to this topic many times, because I consider it interesting and important. Let these photos yield in color entertainment. But they create the settings and make you think.

damn these are amazing mann!!! the turtle one.... epic

Beautiful images. And that's interesting - are you saying that when you're viewing the monitor underwater, you're watching it in black and white?

Sometimes I put the camera in black and white mode and shoot right away. I like to do it on the surface. Under the water, this happens less often. But it happens. But I almost always keep in mind an image, as it could be without color.

Alright! I could see putting the camera into B&W mode to help see tones and shapes clearer as well, even if the finished result was to be color. An alternative to squinting.

Amazing photography but you take black and white photographs.

I have many colored)
But sometimes I want black and white.

I like your all photography . you are a good photographer.

These photographs are phenomenal!
