myday #9 - The World's Best Sunset?
I went down to the beach at Port Stephens in New South Wales to try and capture some of the golden light. Fortunately God must have agreed and put on a bit of a show.
For the tech heads out there these images were photographed using a 55-200mm lens.
I think I captured the world's best sunset...well that's what I think at least!

I must say I do enjoy photographing Australia's coastline. The sunsets are gorgeous and the water ever so clear! It's my aim to buy a drone with the money I might earn through @steemit as I would like to get some aerial photos of Australia and the world. I'm hoping its possible to earn something, but considering it is only my third day here on @steemit I think I have a long way to go!
I'm Leigh, from Sydney Australia and through @steemit I'm seeing what its like to explore @myday. Not in any particular order, or particular time frame but just parts of @myday through my eyes and sometimes the cameras lens.
If you are interested in reading about myself and my beautiful partner Grace then have a read of myday #0 where everything is explained. If you enjoyed reading this post I welcome you to upvote this article and follow me. Please drop me a comment as I would love to hear from you!
hopely you could buy the drone you want by steeming.
do you use filter to get that? can't really get the shot like that when aiming to the light source
I didn't use a filter for these shots. I used the cameras electronic shutter as it allowed me to go up to 1/32000 of a second.
ahhh so the shutter speed is the answer. becuase i always go to smaller aperture.
There are multiple ways to avoid it. it helped that the was done cloud cover and mist from the ocean.
Stunning series.
Thank you @team101!
