Plum Blossoms
One of the heralds of spring are the plum blossoms which start to bloom in mid-February and continue until mid-March. After which they will be replaced by their more famous cousins the Cherry blossoms. It's still a bit too chilly to have a drinking party in the park, (I highly recommend doing so if you have the chance!) But it is still nice to enjoy a light lunch, perhaps with a thermos of warm coffee or tea!

Yes, slowly, spring is arriving here!

This was on the way home, but it certainly is nice to stop, and have a nice cup of coffee and enjoy the moment!
I just went plum garden of Osaka castle last week but there are some trees bloomed.
That sounds very nice! Osaka castle and the near by areas are very popular for Sakura too!
I will go to see Sakura this year too.
So pretty, I can't wait fr the blossom to come out here!

The best time to see them is when they are about to come out of there buds. You have been lucky to capture most of them at right time. Looking forward for your cherry blossoms too.
