Those are neat little buildings! How deep does the potato house go? The high earth banks should keep it a bit cooler, I'm guessing the walls are quite think as well.
Not much deeper than what you see, maybe an extra meter. It's just for the farmer's use, not for commercial quantities of potatoes.
