This past weekend I was out with my Sister running errands, when I spotted this old travel coach. Argosy was a less expensive model of the Airstream travel coach. Rather than being covered on the exterior with metal, it was covered in painted wood. Not as sleek inside either. It appeared to have been parked outside, uncovered for many years as the windows were covered with a thick layer of moss or algae. I tried to scrape it off to snap a few photographs,unsuccessfully. Turned out if I held the camera right onto the window the camera captured a blurry image as you will see.

Haha, it looks like its had better days, but I bet the family or families that owned it have some precious memories in it!
My favorite part is the clock and it kind of looks like a grandmothers sitting room. Kind of like a comfortable old chair. 🐓🐓

Ok so I have the carpel tunnel hands and the drs. told me if I didn’t get them fixed I might lose the use of them. I thought it would be nice to have them working for my later years. Feeling great now. The chickens are prostrate from the heat. Our 4 babies are nearly grown. One of them could be a Rooster. If so we may have some babies at some point.
So glad you bff Einstein is gradually coming along, give him a hug from your friends across the world. I am so happy to hear from you I can hardly stand it! Where is this place you are vacationing? I don’t recognize the name of the town.
Am wondering if you have made any decisions about your career? I wish you so much happiness in whatever you choose to do.
My retirement will happen sometime after the end of August depending on the work load. Looking forward to my freedom, and the next part of my life, you know like being born again! As if magically I will turn into somebody else. Haha!

I havent made any fixed decision about my career. I wish we could sit at a coffee shop. There is so much to tell and I often wish steemit wasn't so public so that I could share more.
How are your hands my friend?
My mom has retired but it has been quite gradual. She would take 4 months off while on treatment and her boss was so kind and continued to pay her a full salary. Then she went back and worked 10 am to 3 pm. But she should never have gone back and should've retired properly ages ago but she just carried on. Now she simply cant go on anymore and i dont know of what quality the rest of her time will be. It hurts like hell. Im so glad you have chosen to retire and enjoy life and im very excited for you!!!

The only way I know to have a private conversation is on discord. Which I would love to do if you join up. I too wish we could sit and have a good visit over a coffee. It’s a shame about your Mom. Why did she persist so long?
Changing careers has never been an easy thing for me, yet I do think looking back each move, was always better than the last and definately more profitable. Still, I believe one should always try to do what they love. It’s just so much easier to get up and know you’re going to enjoy the day.
Your present position is admirable, but people have really gotten to be such a pain. Mainly of their own making. They don’t see it or take responsibility for it, yet they will be happy to throw you under the bus if they don’t get their way.
When I finish this little cabin I really do hope you will come visit. Not that people are any different here. I do know you enjoy a good get away and with it comes a new perspective. The coffee is not bad either!
