Yes! it's amazing how many people are fine having their portrait taken in contrast to what we expect!

as you said - very important is to not care about our ego :-)
if one say NO it's not about something personally about us.
and i really understand these ppl who say NO - mostly ppl with cameras at streets not too good with a portraits so as a photographer mostly i don't like that everyone take my portrait :-)))
