Best Still Life Photos (Personal Photos)
Still Life photo is one of the most beautiful photographic categories. The most important part of Still Life photography is the arrangement of objects for the final scene to be photographed. Generally, every photo of this genre has a theme. Objects participating in the frame will be carefully chosen. They must fit, have something in common. Laying them into the frame is naturally done, they should not be arranged in an orderly manner but must have a "natural disorder".
Generally, the objects are placed on a table or a corner of furniture. The background can be a painted cardboard or a wall that has a color matching the rest of the frame. Light is also the key to successful Still Life photos. This kind of phography is done with dark light. The room must be semi-dark. Light has to create an atmosphere in these photos. The easiest way to achieve high-quality lighting for this type of cadres, but not to spend money is to use an incandescent bulb. It offers a warm light. For umbrellas not to be strong, the direct lighting of the frame will not be used. In front of the veil, two sheets of paper will be placed to create a soft light with soft shadows.
As you can see, Still Life is not for everyone. Undoubtedly, here you will need patience and a bit of artistic sense. Preparing for such a scene can take about an hour. This includes arranging objects in a harmonious way, setting the background, preparing the lights and placing the camera on the tripod. About Still Life Photography, I can write a few pages, but stop here. Above you have all the tips to start this kind of photography. Good luck to photos.

Really beautiful arrangements @mihaisyblu. Lighting and objects are reminiscent of the paintings of the old Dutch Masters.
Is the background wall an actual wall or have you used painted cardboard here or introduced textures with photoshop? Resteemed. 🦋
@allyinspirit, thank you. You have made a comparison, which I feel excited about. This kind of photography, as well as the studio portrait, must benefit from a special light that really resembles the light of the paintings of the old Dutch Masters. Still life photography emerged from photographers' need to achieve something closest to still-life classics. In all the photos we used a cartoon, but in the second and fifth photos I overlayed in Photoshop over the background area, a texture with a cracked wall.
They are so beautiful that they look like paintings! I love the lighting! Upvoting and following.
