Bubbling Thoughts and Treats 2！

In China for instance, tea of many varieties are enjoyed across the nation. However, the general format of afternoon tea has crept into many hospitality establishments over the years. Part of this experience lies within the exquisite setting in which the experience is provided. An exotic and grand venue suits the strategic properties which high end hotels operate from. For this reason, the tea experience is one that fits very well with the existing services that are aimed to be upmarket and elegant.

As I sat down with my friends to enjoy my afternoon of tea and cakes, I thought it would be fitting to enjoy a glass of bubble or two. Though not common, it is perfectly reasonable to enjoy the delicious cakes that had been neatly served on three tiers with a glass of champagne. Coupled with a relaxing and informal setting in a luxurious environment was therapeutic in itself. As I watched the bubbles surface I began to appreciate how much thought had gone into preparing this style of meal. The colours, presentation and overall composition was perfect for sharing and embodied what afternoon tea was all about, a social occasion!
