Japan doesn’t only have exiting cities and a lot of interesting cultur to offer. If you happen to live here longer and you are getting used to being in this fascinating country you will notice so many other things and explore so many different places.
This isn’t a pure travel blog, I would also like to tell you about my daily life here and show you the country seen with my eyes. I also want to talk about places and post some pictures, a normal tourist usually won’t see and might not even want to see.
Like everywhere in the world humans have always been fighting alongside nature yet against the forces of nature, the elements. We forced natur to provide as some space to live, but that place can be easily claimed back soon.
Particularly, just come closer to the sea, watch the eternal fight against the tide and the elemental forces of the water.
During one of my wanderings along the coast I happened to come close to this place here. A few years ago it surely was filled with laughter and joy, it is only a few meters away from the waterfront und I reckon it was a popular place to relax and to get away from the lingering summer heat.
Japan hat natürlich nicht nur aufregende Städte und eine interessante Kultur zu bieten. Wenn man schon länger hier ist und das Leben in Japan zum Alltag geworden ist, fallen einem auch ganz andere Dinge auf und man entdeckt ganz andere Orte.
Dieser Blog ist ja kein reiner Reiseblog, sondern soll auch mein Leben hier in Japan wiederspiegeln und das Land aus meinen Augen zeigen. Also werde ich auch über Orte berichten und Bilder zeigen, die man als Tourist nicht sehen würde und vielleicht auch gar nicht sehen möchte.
Wie überall auf der Welt kämpft der Mensch schon seit Ewigkeiten mit der Natur und gegen die Naturgewalten. Er ringt der Natur einen Ort zum Leben ab, dieser kann aber schon bald wieder zurückerobert werden.
Dieser Schauspiel ist am besten am Meer zu beobachten, der ewige Kampf mit den Gezeiten und den Urgewalten des Wassers.
Auf meinen Streifzügen entlang der Küste habe ich diesen Ort entdeckt, vor ein paar Jahren hat in diesem Haus noch das Strandleben getobt, es liegt nur wenige Meter vom Wasser entfernt und war mit Sicherheit ein beliebter Ort um sich von der Sommerhitze zu erholen und mal etwas zu entspannen.
But the wind is a strong enemy who will never stop blowing and piling up sand over sand, and as soon as you stop removing it right away you end up like this building.
It looks a little enchated and you can still feel the atmopshere that was around with people partying and cheering each other. This mood is still there, just buried under the sand.
Aber der Wind ist ein starker Gegner und wenn man nicht ohne Pause versucht, den sich auftürmenden Sand abzutragen, endet man schließlich wie dieses Haus.
Es wirkt ein bisschen verwunschen, man hat das Gefühl hier wurde noch vor kurzen Gelacht und gefeiert, und dieses Stimmung ist nur unter dem Sand bedeckt.
You still can see one of the shiny pots, which might has been used to make some hearty soup to warm up everybody who came by on a chilly and windy autumn day like today. It seems the people who belong here, left just a brief moment ago.
Und man kann auch noch den glänzenden Topf sehen, der wahrscheinlich dafür genutzt wurde um an einen kühlen und windigen Herbsttag so wie heute, eine herzhafte und wärmende Suppe zuzubereiten. Es scheint, die Menschen die hierher gehören, haben diesen Ort erst vor einem kurzen Moment verlassen.
But sand and wind are relentless, who who won’t fight and resist has no chance in this battle with natur, no break is allowed and at the end we only can bend down humbly and admit who is the true champioon and master.
Aber der Sand im Bunde mit dem Wind ist unerbittlich. Alles, wenn man nicht unaufhörlich dagegen ankämpft, wird unerbittlich mit mehr und mehr Sand begraben.
Eine Pause wird nicht toleriert, die Naturgewalten lassen uns nicht verschnaufen und zeigen uns wer denn letztendlich der wahre Meister ist.
Our time on this planet won’t last forever, some day all of our traces will be wiped out and nothing will be left to reveal our existence.
Let us enjoy the moment but also let us show some admiration for our wonderful planet which we will never be able to completely control to our liking.
Unser Aufenthalt auf diesem Planten ist nicht für immer, unsere Spuren werden eines Tages verwischt werden und vielleicht wird nichts auf unsere Existenz mehr hinweisen.
Geniessen wir also den Augenblick aber lasst uns auch immer etwas Ehrfurcht zeigen und uns nicht anmaßen, diesen wundervollen Planeten mit seinen Naturgewalten vollständig kontrollieren zu können.

Hat irgendwie was leicht bedrückendes, wenn man sich die Fotos so anschaut.
Wie du schon geschrieben hast

Ja du hast recht, manche Orte haben auch hier schon bessere Zeiten erlebt.
Diese Orte hat man überall auf der Welt.
Selbst in Deutschland, wo man immer davon redet was für ein reiches Land wir sind.
In meiner Stadt steht mitten in der Innenstadt ein Haus, bei dem schon die
halbe Außenfassade fehlt und das schon seit 3 Jahren.
Das Haus liegt direkt an der Straße und anstatt es abzureißen oder zu sanieren,
wird billigend in kauf genommen, dass irgendwann mal noch jemand
von Ziegelsteinen etc. erschlagen wird.
Macht einen irgendwie traurig, wenn man dabei zuschauen muss,
wie die Heimat Stück für Stück verfällt :/
Da wird erst was passieren, wenn es sich finanziell lohnt oder wenn, wie du gesagt hast, jemand zu schaden gekommen ist
We are all dust in the wind.
I don't know how it is in Germany, but in the States it seems like nature doesn't reclam things quite as fast as here in Japan. Mother Nature is aggressive in Japan!
Germany is quite densely populated, so nature want to have too many opportunities to claim his things back. Although especially at the North Sea Coast, the shoreline is permanently moving and little island become bigger or smaller just overnight
Man proposes and God disposes, this is what came to my mind when I saw these pictures ,thanks for sharing
