Wild Marigold and Mariposa: A Photo Story
I went to take some photos of this wild marigold and this butterfly, here called a mariposa, landed on it and went to town feasting on the nectars while letting me take these photos to share with you all.

Very nice. Looks like a brown "skipper" of some kind... which is more like a "daytime moth" than a true butterfly. They can actually be hard to photograph as they tend to be pretty fast fliers... good job!
This one stopped and posed for me. I figured it was a moth but I wasn't sure. Here both moths and butterflies are called mariposas I'm pretty sure.
