Adventures Around Acapulco: Night Time Photo Shoot Adventure to Airport
I decided to take my camera in the back of the truck one evening to try and get some action-y night time photos while taking some friends home to nearby Bonfil. I knew it would be difficult, but I didn't realize just how. Most of my photos came out blurry regardless of the settings. Here are the ones worth sharing.
A quick view shot gone bad, just the slightest movement causes photos like this.

Someone asked me recently if there's a formal recycling program here, this is physical proof.
All the decent shots I got were when we were at a stop.
There are some crazy trees in this city.
This trip ended in a trip to the airport to pick up @modprobe, who had just spent several weeks in Europe.
The airport here is being renovated into a much larger three story building right now.

Night time shooting can be quite tricky. Basically you need to use the lens at its largest aperture (lowest F number) and longest exposure time you can get away with. If you have a tripod sturdy enough for the camera you are using that would be very helpful, but I think even better would be a wireless shutter trigger for night time photos, or whenever you need longer exposure times, because pressing the shutter button will cause a slight movement anyway, and that makes photos blurry when increasing exposure time. Also ISO number, the higher the better for pictures to be brighter, but that decreases the quality of the image, so you might need to compromise there. But... I think you actually got all that figured out, judging by the pictures you have taken...

I have much to learn honestly. These were just quick shots from the back of a truck, so no tripod even though we own three....haha. But I need to be more diligent in learning the ins and outs of this camera and your comment reminds me of that. :)
We all learn from eachother, all out lives, and no matter how much is never enough, because there is always more... somebody always comes up with a better idea or a new way of doing something... or plain and simple there was something we were not aware of.
