Golden Hour Photography: Reggae Hammocks in the Palms
Every year I make sure to attend the Reggae Rise Up music festival when it comes to town. This years festival topped many from years ago for sure. While I was disappointed a few bands were not in the lineup, there were still plenty of very entertaining shows on both stages. During a 3 day festival, every now and then a break is needed; for the body, mind....and yes....ears.
Thankfully, the venue that hosts these events is adjacent to Tampa Bay. The seawall is usually packed but sometimes you can find a small slot to sit and enjoy the scenery. My picture for today's #goldenhourphotography challenge hosted by @juliank is just a look back at the madness we had to escape from over the three days. I only wish there were some free hammocks when we came by, not sure I would've ever left one of them!

Can't agree with you more. However, I have little time to enjoy as of late because I have a 8-5 and very young children to care for. I will get to enjoy life like you when STEEM takes off or when I retire or when i hit the $480M+ Mega Million or after the kids go to college (if they so choose).
spend that money on Steem instead of the lottery, better returns and chance of them...lol
Nice shots. Hammocks in the trees at a reggae fest sounds like the way to do it. Nice that it's by the bay, too!
Most of the similar festivals around here are country-related, though there is a (supposedly) very good polka fest in the next town over...

I heard tampa got hit really bad last night with the storms... are you ok?? It was pretty bad here too...
wasn't too bad in my area just a bit northeast of Tampa, rained like crazy with a few thunderstorms but pretty normal FL Summer weather here....my backyard has been like a swamp for the past month or so from all the rain this year.....thanks tho!
I know how ya feel. Im cutting my grass every few days lol but on the upsiide its green and my flowers are blooming really good lol
agreed, the backyard grass may be a bit swampy but my garden is booming....except the plants that can't take too much water...lol, those are dead. My watermelons and tomatoes went into lockout with all the water
