The couple who creates together, stays together!
Good evening, Steemit! Head down, pushing through the bullshit with an abundance of optimism. I just got home from the gym, which I’m reintroducing to my routine. I’ve been gym donating for a while now. I like to listen to podcasts and audio books while I work out. Nothing feels better than exercising your body and brain at the same time. I’ve been frustrated with the crypto-market lately, but taking in a few chapters of "The Age of Cryptocurrency” has reminded not to be short sighted. Published in 2015, quotes like “Bitcoin’s previous high of $1,000 show it’s promise in how high it might go!”. Not just the “money” aspect, but the significance of blockchain technology on our lives. I feel lucky to be here, even if it currently means $2 STEEM.
Tonight’s photography is a provocative look at our very own, beloved @vermillionfox. She’s a full-spectrum artist […a term I’m stealing from my friend @jezebel, a full-spectrum artist herself]; somehow who is talented and proficient across many mediums and forms of personal expression. @vermillionfox is a beautiful model, seen several times in her sexy exhibitions such as “Musings” and “More I Less”, but also shoots most of her own imagery […in addition to drawing, painting, sculpting and writing daily]. She’s an absolute inspiration to me and I endlessly admire her commitment to art and Steemit.
We try to make time to shoot together as often as possible, but with the pressing deadlines for Dark Pinup I’ve been working on with @wcpublishing, it’s been more and more challenging to find an opening to take photos together. With the book finally off to the printer, it finally came to be. Just one shot, not in the book, not on Instagram or other social networks. Just a dark, seductive photo hidden in shadows and mirror of a pink marble bathroom, only here on Steemit. Enjoy.
I’ve written extensively about the epidemic of creepy male photographers crossing lines and creating uncomfortable environments for the women they shoot. That said, in an entirely consensual ways with my girlfriend of three years whom I'll eventually marry, here’s that one time I was a creepy photographer. You’re welcome, @artwatch :P

I enjoy doing the same thing listening to audio podcast of my favorite speakers of crypto and daily life too and working out at the same thing, you get two things done at the same time it really is amazing.
Isn't that the best @steemcleanse! Some exercises, I really need fast, hard punk or hardcore to keep my movement and motivation at a high level, but things like a stair climber or other cardio, I love listening to audiobooks and podcasts. Few things make me feel like I'm growing as a person more than that combo.
Haha its the one time you're allowed by the creepy photographer. You guys have it sussed out and theres no more beautiful thing. I'm the same with @jencoolpop. Haha I do drive her nuts with the photography but she still comes along to most shoots, helps with lighting and has a great eye for detail pointing out things I miss. Being able to explore our creative side with the ones we love is a wonderful thing and I'm certainly very grateful for it.
Totally agree @davekavanagh! That's great that you have the same kind of creative exchange with @jencoolpop as well. @vermillionfox and I make a great team and I love having her on shoots. She's the glue that holds a lot of my career together and I'm endlessly grateful for her.
The last pic seems more lovely than creepy to me knowing you guys are more than just friend. Great work.
