📷 View of Nanga Parbat from Fairy Meadows

in #photography6 years ago

Nanga Parbat is the ninth highest mountain in the world at 8,126 metres (26,660 ft) above sea level. It is also named "Killer Mountain" because of the high death rate among climbers.

From the green Fairy Meadows, it looks majestic and harsh. However, we did not begin to climb to the top, we just lived there for several days, went up to the base camp place and walked around the neighborhood. As always, mountains are inexpressibly beautiful in their diversity!

So beautiful. Thank you for the wonderful photos to see how beautiful is that mountain.

Thank you! I think, Nanga Parbat is the most beautiful and the highest mountain I've seen so far.

From the images is not hard to understand why. Absolutely beautiful

Thank you, I'm glad you like it)

welcome @kibela i will be wait your next post ..

I would love to explore northern Pakistan ! Nanga Parbat is one of my favorites.

It is definitely worth to do it! Northern Pakistan is beautiful, especially Nanga Parbat, and other mountains and places of Gilgit-Baltistan can be remembered for a long time, I think.

I have been to Lahore and Karachi but not a lot else.

I haven't been there, but I heard about Lahore. How did you like it there?
We traveled around the region of Gilgit-Baltistan, and except Nanga Parbat, were also at the base camp of Rakaposhi, in the Eagle's nest, on the glacier of Batura. It was an awesome trip!

Certainly an interesting place to travel with a lot of history ; I would prefer to be up in the mountains however!

Ok) so I prefer mountains and just narure too)

Stunning beautiful! I already want to visit 😍

Thank you!
Go there, try it - you will not regret)
