Calm Water
I can't imagine anything more calming than viewing a completely calm water surface.
Saturday afternoon offered me that, a surface that mirrored all clouds like a second sky, looking up at me from below. Approaching the water I was stunned by the scenery.
If you ever sat by the water a day when there was no wind, you know what I mean right? The whole world is looking at you from the water.
The lonely swan seemed to enjoy the day as much as I did, and just swimming arround. Calm and cool, did not see me much.
A light breeze
Later on my walk I could feel a gentle breeze, the water turned into small movements. Another kind of surface... Natures artwork is interactive... The surface in the next photo looks like metal. That is why I call it "metal water", with small circles that reflect the sky. My husband loves to paint this kind of water.
I finish my walk with a last photo of the scenery. The yawl has started to drift a bit on the small waves. It's not that calm anymore... But I'm calm, I bow my head to show my appreciation of nature.

I love those days when the water is so still and calm. It reflects its serenity to my soul. How much more medicine would we need if there wasn't the seas, the lakes and the rivers to soothe our souls? Lovely photos!

There's some great peace, for me, in the stillness of the ocean. And a feeling for exhilaration when she's angry too. Maybe that's just me though, I feel most myself when on or near the water.

There is a thing about water that makes you go into a relaxed state. I sometimes feel like my mind is floating when I am near water!
